Celebrating 100 Years of Construction Excellence

Akman Construction has been a family business for 100 years! Since 1912, Akman Construction’s project portfolio has grown to include luxury apartments, condominiums, commercial and institutional facilities as well as large-scale shopping centres.

Time and time again, Akman Construction has successfully executed high quality building throughout Manitoba. 		Notable projects include the Asper Community Campus, Red River College, Blue Cross Headquarters, over three hundred personal care home units for the province of Manitoba, and the complete historical restoration of Wesley Hall at the University of Winnipeg.

Akman Construction's current projects in Manitoba include a Women's Correctional Centre in Headingley, a Food Development Centre in Portage la Prairie, the Worker's Compensation Board Restoration Project, and the Thompson Regional Community Centre in Thompson Manitoba.
