| Akman Construction renovated and expanded the Henderson Library for the City of Winnipeg. It is now 18,000 square feet of refurbished space which includes; shelving, furniture, children's programming rooms & computers, tutorial rooms, a staff lounge, and a new reception area. | The original 1960's terrazzo flooring was refurbished in this renovation project. Also, to save costs diagonal lighting was utilized; this reduced shadows benefiting the users. | ||
